Original artwork made from real spider webs found on the property of my humble, rustic home in Pumpkintown, SC. The spider webs are radiant in the early morning hours and are easily visible at this time. Most of the webs used in these paintings came from a variety orb weavers as well as garden spiders, grass spiders and comb-clawed spiders.
The edges are painted with black acrylic making these paintings ready to hang. All products used in making these spider web paintings were acid free. 100% cotton, double primed, back wrapped, stretch canvas was used to capture these webs.
They are signed, dated and numbered on the back, as to not disrupt the design.
Each canvas has its own unique design with terrific composition.
No spiders were harmed in the making of this artwork.
